For B.Sc Nursing, candidates must have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in the Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English as one of the subjects. Also, the candidate must be in between 17 to 35 years of age.
The course duration for GNM is three years regulated by Indian Nursing Council (INC), whereas on Karnataka state level it is regulated by Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Examination Board and Karntaka Nursing Council. The admission is given on First Come First Serve basis. The candidate must have passed 12th with minimum 40% with English as a subject from any recognized board and should be in between 17 to 35 years old.
PBBSc Nursing is a two-year course and is done after GNM. For PBBSc, the candidate must be a registered nurse and must hold a diploma in GNM.
M.Sc Nursing is a two-year postgraduate course. The candidate must have 55% aggregate marks and the age limit is 45 years.
