Pharmacy-Eligibility, Course Duration, Admission Process

To pursue a career in pharmacy particularly in B.Pharma, candidates must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects. They must also have secured a minimum of 50% marks in their 10+2 examination. The course duration for a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) is four years.

Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) is two years course and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with atleast 55% marks in aggregate. Also, the candidate must have appeared in PGCET exam.

Diploma of Pharmacy is a 2 years diploma that requires the candidate to have appeared in Graduate Aptitude Test, JEE Pharmacy UPSEE, CPMT, PMET, and so on. It also requires student to have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology and must have 50% marks in aggregate.

Doctor of Pharmacy is a 6 years course and students are made to enter the Pharma D by appearing in CET exam. The candidate also requires passing 12th standard with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology.
